Privacy policy

This policy explains how caloriesfori ("the app"), operated by the developer, handles your information.

Data stored on your device

Food logs, calorie goals, body profile, weight, water, sleep and exercise records are stored only in your browser on your device. The developer cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Food photos and descriptions

When you request an estimate, your photo or text is sent securely to an AI service to calculate approximate nutrition. It is used only for that request and is not kept by the app.

Payments

Optional support payments are processed by Stripe. The developer never receives your card details.

What we don't do

No advertising, no tracking for ads, and no selling or sharing of your personal data.

Your choices

You can export, move or delete your on-device data at any time from Settings or by clearing your browser data. To ask about any cloud data, use the Contact page.

Health disclaimer

Estimates are approximate and not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional about your health.

Updates to this policy will be posted on this page.
